WOW TRANSITION HOUSE INC - WOMEN OF WORTH RECOVERY HOME

OUR BEGINNING

Our home was born out of many years of ministry, and a passion to help women with addictions and life problems learn a better way of life. The organization was founded by Patsy Meadows and Marlyn Pemberton,a mother daughter team of ordained ministers. They opened the WOW Home in the spring of 2004 in Springfield Tennessee and nutured it until November 2006,when another woman with years of ministry, passion and experience working with women assumed responsibility of the home and moved it to Nashville,Tennessee where job training,
employment, volunteers, healthcare and other amenities were more readily available. The home is located in a very quiet residental neighborhood within ten minutes of many employment opportunities, churches, shopping, library, and much more.
The home continues to be directed by Joe and Jeaneice Shearon,Marilyn and Patsy are still ministering to women in another county.
